6 months!

My baby will be 6 months old tomorrow!! I can't believe it! This has been the most difficult, rewarding, loving 6 months of my life! When everyone told me how much was going to change after I became a mother I didn't think they were so right! I love being this beautiful baby's mommy and wouldn't change anything we have gone through! I can feel her special little spirit and the love Heavenly Father has for this sweet little angel and know I couldn't be more blessed. Every day is an adventure with this little one! This year has been full of all the firsts... first cry, first smile,first bump, first hospital visit, first laugh, first new food, first time she rolled over and so many more to come! I can't wait to see you grow and learn Laynee Rae! I love you so much! I am so proud of you already. I am so blessed to have you in my life and to be able to watch you grow! Here are some pictures of our first 6 months together!

Update

Well this week has been a rather difficult one... to start off Laynee was in the hospital with RSV Sunday night. She still is not her normal self. We have a doctors appointment today to see if the meds have made any difference at all. Today I found out that a dear friend of mine past away earlier this morning. Steven Brown was an amazing man, he loved people, he loved making everyone smile and most of all he loved the gospel. He was a man that knew when you needed a hug or a friendly smile. He was very involved in his community, and will be dearly missed. We love you Steven, our lives will never be the same without you. Ok now with the update on what Laynee is up to these days, she is almost 5 months old!! Where has the time gone!? She is rolling over, eating some baby food, and laughing all the time! She is such a joy in my life! I look back at these last 5 months and realize how much I am going to miss this stage but cant wait for the next 5 months of her life!! Here are a few pictures!

Laynee's first Christmas!!

Laynee and I had a great Christmas this year! We spent Christmas Eve day with daddy and his family and then Christmas Eve and Christmas morning just the two of us:) We read a Christmas story and sat by the fire in our new PJ's! I love this little girl so much! I don't know what I would have done without her this year. It has been a very tough year and I would not have made it through without her there to smile at me and remind me what life is truely about. She helped me to realize the true meaning of Christmas this year! I love you Laynee I cant wait to watch you grow this year!! Christmas Day we went to my dads and had dinner and opened gifts with everyone! It was a lot of fun! We also found out that we are going to welcome a new little BOY in April! Congratulations Clint and Heather!! We sure Love you!! Here are a few pictures I took of Laynee with my new camera!!

Day old child

Day-Old Child.

My day old child lay in my arms,
With my lips against her ear
I,whispered strongly,"How I wish--
I,wish that u could hear;

"I've a hundred wonderful things to say
(A tiny cough and a nod),
Hurry, hurry, hurry and grow
So I, can tell you about God"

My day-old baby's mouth was still
And my words only tickled her ear.
But a kind of a light passed through her eyes,
And I, saw this thought appear:

"How I, wish I, had a voice and words;
I've a hundred things to say.
Before I, forget I'd tell you of God--
I, left Him yesterday."
